The Morocco 1500
Morocco has always drawn adventurers and overlanders to its heart. For Desert Rose, it is a home from home, with Patsy first travelling across it over 25 years ago. Being part of the route of the famous Paris-Dakar rallye of the late 70s and early 80s it is surely on most motorcyclists’ bucket list.
For 2024 we have something completely new and we believe quite unique. We have built an event which enables both off road riders and on road riders to experience Morocco at its very best, however you choose to travel through it.
With 7 days riding, we will cover some 1500km, starting in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and finishing in Fes, Morocco’s oldest city, having dropped down to Merzouga to see first-hand the majestic dunes and desert vistas.
Staying in quality accommodation and having a night under the stars at a desert bivouac this is an event that will make memories to last a lifetime.
All in the knowledge that you are riding with the full support of the experienced Desert Rose Team there to back you up.
If you’re riding the off-road route, then we’d generally advise a lighter ‘enduro’ or ‘trail’ type bike, simply because these bikes are more fun, easier to ride and therefore often make the overall experience more enjoyable. However, any bike that is happy being ridden off road, including larger adventure bikes and that you’re happy riding on a variety of surfaces is suitable for the Morocco 1500. If you’re wanting to complete all the sand and dune sections though, we advise sticking to a lighter weight machine.
If you’re riding the on-road route, then pretty much any bike is suitable! High speeds aren’t necessary for the roads we will be riding on though, with the majority of Morocco having a 100km/h speed limit, something with a more upright riding position, a bike that lets you take in the sights and that is fun to ride at moderate speeds would be ideal. The condition of the tarmac can vary quite a bit through the 7 days, so much the same advice as for those riding off road, make sure it’s something that you’re comfortable riding in all sorts of conditions.

Now in its 3rd year, the annual BeRightBack day at Desert Rose never fails to deliver.
Be Right Back is a growing community for women in and around the automotive world, where passion for bikes and cars, connection and experience-making collide. It was created out of the real need for women who felt like they didn’t quite fit into the typical automotive scene and wanted a supportive, fun and empowered space to meet like-minded people, build friendships and enjoy the culture together.
BRB hosts a wide range of events from casual social meet-ups like breakfast gatherings and drive-outs to special celebrations like International Women’s Day collaborations and women-centred track days and off road riding experiences. All designed to bring women together around bikes and cars in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Desert Rose to attend Moto-Union Celebration
Desert Rose have been invited to attend the Moto-Union event on the 20th September 2026. Moto-Union 2026 returns to the South of England Showground in Ardingly, bringing together enthusiasts and iconic machines — from classic bikes to off-road and racing legends.
Moto-Union brings together a collection of Japanese and Italian motorbikes, alongside race bikes, off-road machines, rare classics, modern performance motorbikes, and stunning custom builds. Whether you’re a seasoned rider, collector, or simply appreciate great engineering, there will be something to inspire you.

CampVC 2026 10th Anniversary
We have been coming to CampVC for some years now and it really has grown.
This year for their 10th Anniversary the team asked if we could bring more bikes. Never one to step back from a challenge Patsy made sure we upped our game.
We took 20 electric dirt bikes; OSET TXP 24s, EM Escape XRs, an Arctic Leopard and of course our brand new fleet of Zero X line bikes. Add to that 16 of our Beta enduro bikes some of our own bikes, the Triumph TF 250 E, Yamaha TTR 125 and Patsy’s Dakar bike from 2004, a KTM 660.

Malle Mile 2026 Edition
The 2026 Malle Mile Festival will forever be known as “The dust bowl edition”
Some 5,000 people experienced 1,500 motorcycles, beauty, chaos, art, jousting, innovation, smiles, moto polo, laughter, slightly surreal DJ sets (IYKYK The Dog Show!)
All this in the grounds of an actual castle!
