The Greek Odyssey Rallye 2022 Edition
The 12 Founder Members of the BSMC – Desert Rose Rallye Team entered the 2022 Edition of the Greek Odyssey Rally hoping for adventure. Well, they certainly had an adventure, riding in excess of 1500 km through truly breath taking scenery. Both the riders and the bikes were put through their paces, with some of the ascents and descents not for the faint hearted.
The team spirit and camaraderie was evident throughout the week.

From the earliest discussions between BSMC and Desert Rose this team event was some 12 months in the planning. Riders attended training days, rallye briefs, some bought new bikes and all put in plenty of training to prepare themselves for the event. They got spares boxes organised and kit bags ready. The Desert Rose team then made sure that all of the bikes, kit and spares were at the start line in Greece ready for the start.
After the first day’s riding they knew why the training and preparation were so important. This was not a gentle trail ride on UK green lanes.
It is fair to say a number of the team are already planning their next rallye.

The Morocco 1500
Wow!
What an event, we took 50 riders from Marrakesh, down to the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, then back up through the national park of Ifrane to Fes.
With over 30 riders tackling the Trail Edition, riding through the desert, through river beds, up long steep mountain passes and across the dunes this was an epic adventure.
The Tarmac Edition saw riders hit the heights of the High Atlas mountain range, ride some incredible mountain switchbacks, cross the desert to get to the “Bond Volcano” film location and have adventures of their own getting across, round and through some of the many washed out roads.

CampVC 2024
Wow!!!!!! CampVC never fails to deliver. What a great weekend. Super cool to meet up with so many riders who were with us at previous Camps and to meet new riders.
Everyone threw themselves into the enduro school sessions we put on over the 3 days and they all went away with new skills and a love of riding off road motorcycles.

Malle Mile ’24
2024 saw the 10th Edition of the incomparable Malle Mile. Set in the grounds of the beautiful Grimsthorpe Castle this is a one of a kind event.
Inappropriate motorcycles being raced across the castle lawns and down the castle driveway, with fire eaters, world renowned wall of death show, art exhibition, live music, fire works, moto polo and 1500 motorcycles on a scramble around the grounds each morning.
Harry yet again spending a weekend mainly on the back wheel of one of our Beta enduro bikes, all in the name of his role as Marshal of course.

ABR Festival 2024
This event just keeps getting bigger and better. For 2024 there were 17,500 attendees. Motorcycle manufacturers managed 10,000 test rides on the latest adventure bikes. We were delighted to have been invited again to host the daily trail briefings, giving riders essential tips and hints as to how to safely ride the trails.
