A slightly damp Saturday in late November saw a mixed group attend a Skills Development Day. Some riders opted to use their own bikes with others on Academy fleet bikes. These days are intended to offer riders who have attended our Stage 1 & 2 courses further coaching on skills they want to develop. The group tackled some open flowing farm tracks, muddy ruts, deep “bomb holes” and a range of obstacles.
There is no doubt that everyone took their riding up a gear or two. Obstacles that might be encountered in the woods, out on the trails or on an enduro course were tackled with enthusiasm. By the end of the day everyone felt their riding had improved and they would be more confident when faced with obstacles and tricky terrain.
