The end of March saw our inaugural Rallye Evaluation Days, held in collaboration with @bikeshedmotoco they were a chance for riders to start to get a practical understanding of the rallye/raid world. Building on the presentation that we gave back in January at The BikeShed London these 2 days gave riders the opportunity to ride, ask questions about road books, GPS, bike options, bike gear, nutrition, personal fitness, become part of a team and of course to ride with Patsy Quick and Harry Michael.
Throwing in some rallye themed riding exercises, including bike to bike towing, stream crossings, man handling of bikes across streams and mechanical breakdown diagnosis made the days truly memorable.
This wasn’t a qualifying event for upcoming rallies, but aimed at helping riders understand what is required to get the most out of any rally, whether that’s a non competitive raid or one of the world’s toughest rallyes.
