Malle Marshals Join us for a Day

Earlier this year the Desert Rose team took our training Academy to the Malle Mile, in the beautiful grounds of Grimsthorpe Castle. The weekend was one full of motorcycles, racing, glamping, motorcycle related art work, music and good vibes. The dedicated team of Marshals work hard in the run up to the event and all weekend to make sure riders and their guests have the best experience. Well this weekend it was the turn of the Malle Marshals to hang up their overalls for the day and get some off road riding under their belts. Using our late model fleet of Beta Enduro bikes the Marshals were put through their paces. Tackling some tight, single track routes through the trees and a couple of gentle hill ascents and descents.

Towards the end of the day, we took the opportunity to show them part of our skills development area where riders can hone their skills in getting over various obstacles, using pre load techniques and pivot turns to negotiated routes through the woods. It’s fair to say that everyone had a great day, the team bond was clear to see and we know that the Marshals are ready to face next year’s Malle Beach Race, Malle Mile and their longer Malle Rallies. BeRightBack @ Desert Rose 2026

Now in its 3rd year, the annual BeRightBack day at Desert Rose never fails to deliver. Be Right Back is a growing community for women in and around the automotive world, where passion for bikes and cars, connection and experience-making collide. It was created out of the real need for women who felt like they didn’t quite fit into the typical automotive scene and wanted a supportive, fun and empowered space to meet like-minded people, build friendships and enjoy the culture together. BRB hosts a wide range of events from casual social meet-ups like breakfast gatherings and drive-outs to special celebrations like International Women’s Day collaborations and women-centred track days and off road riding experiences. All designed to bring women together around bikes and cars in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. BSMC Members @ Desert Rose

At Desert Rose we have a long partnership with London’s BikeShed. For the last 5 or 6 years we have welcomed groups of BSMC members to our training facilities. They have joined us on our trips in Portugal, the Pyrenees, Morocco and taken part in rallies through Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and north Africa. We have been to their epic show at London’s Tobacco Dock and hosted group chats at their Shoreditch HQ.
