Desert Rose Become a BikeShed Approved Partner
Desert Rose are delighted to have become a BikeShed Approved Partner.
Since 2011, the Bike Shed has been a place of common ground, where people from all walks of life come together to share their passion for two-wheels, whether they ride a motorcycle or not.
BikeShed offers their community an escape from the shallow, virtual, digital world into a space offering an authentic analogue experience, centred around motorcycle culture. Visitors leave their differences at the door to enjoy an inclusive, welcoming space, whoever they are and wherever they come from. In 2022 BikeShed launched their LA operation
Desert Rose started working with the BikeShed team in 2020, putting on BikeShed Scrambles down at our East Sussex off road venues. The scrambles became more and more popular. BikeShed Memebership Supremo, Dan and BikeShed Camerman Dan joined us on a day of off road training back in August and fair to say had a blast.
We were then invited to the BikeShed Christmas Party where Patsy took centre stage with Charley Boorman, Billy Ward and Nathan Milward.
In January this year, Patsy, along with Joe and Harry were back at the BikeShed talking to members about rallye life, the different type of events, from raids to full on competitive road books rallies. 3 BikeShed members threw themselves headlong into the rallye world by entering Hellas in Greece, with Desert Rose Racing support. A further group of a dozen BikeShed members, including Membership Dan, signed up for their first rallye, entering the Greek Odyssey scheduled for late September this year. Having committed to the rallye, bike training days, fitness sessions and bike prep are in full swing. The rallye evaluation days really did bring the best out in the team.
Desert Rose are proud to be a part of the BikeShed community and look forward to developing this partnership and welcoming some of the LA members on future events.

The Morocco 1500
Wow!
What an event, we took 50 riders from Marrakesh, down to the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, then back up through the national park of Ifrane to Fes.
With over 30 riders tackling the Trail Edition, riding through the desert, through river beds, up long steep mountain passes and across the dunes this was an epic adventure.
The Tarmac Edition saw riders hit the heights of the High Atlas mountain range, ride some incredible mountain switchbacks, cross the desert to get to the “Bond Volcano” film location and have adventures of their own getting across, round and through some of the many washed out roads.

CampVC 2024
Wow!!!!!! CampVC never fails to deliver. What a great weekend. Super cool to meet up with so many riders who were with us at previous Camps and to meet new riders.
Everyone threw themselves into the enduro school sessions we put on over the 3 days and they all went away with new skills and a love of riding off road motorcycles.

Malle Mile ’24
2024 saw the 10th Edition of the incomparable Malle Mile. Set in the grounds of the beautiful Grimsthorpe Castle this is a one of a kind event.
Inappropriate motorcycles being raced across the castle lawns and down the castle driveway, with fire eaters, world renowned wall of death show, art exhibition, live music, fire works, moto polo and 1500 motorcycles on a scramble around the grounds each morning.
Harry yet again spending a weekend mainly on the back wheel of one of our Beta enduro bikes, all in the name of his role as Marshal of course.

ABR Festival 2024
This event just keeps getting bigger and better. For 2024 there were 17,500 attendees. Motorcycle manufacturers managed 10,000 test rides on the latest adventure bikes. We were delighted to have been invited again to host the daily trail briefings, giving riders essential tips and hints as to how to safely ride the trails.
