Once again Desert Rose were invited to join the weekend motorcycle festival like no other. Up at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire the 2022 edition of the Malle Mile was run, with upwards of 1000 motorcycles. Billed as the most inappropriate motorcycle race & festival in the country, the Malle Mile is a celebration of the motorcycle in all its forms. Racing taking the form of a sprint, a hill climb, a dash and the Malle 100 the engines roared and dust was flying. Having said that, some engines didn’t roar as there were plenty of electric motorcycles whizzing and whirring across the finish line.
Desert Rose had a selection of our enduro fleet of motorcycles and were offering short taster sessions of our training courses. Starting with body positioning, bike handling exercises, we then took riders on a 6K loop of the castle grounds. The view of the castle from the other side of the lake were superb. The weather was kind to us and the festival vibe lasted all weekend long.
Our display and booking on space was right in front of the hill climb and dash, so we got a great view of the action.
